We have been actively involved in various Healthcare Information Technology activities.

• Healthcare IT Research Center
  • One of the prestigious Universities in Southern California is currently planning to establish a research center in Healthcare IT, and Dr. Suda participates in this effort.
• Healthcare IT Certificate Program
  • One of the prestigious Universities in Southern California starts offering a Healthcare IT certificate program in Spring 2012, and we are familiar with the program.
• EMR (electronic medical record) software
  • We are familiar with EMR software (e.g., EPIC based software) that stores medical records and facilitates medical diagnosis and communication among medical doctors, staff and patients.
• Medical applications of biological devices
  • As a part of a joint work with a major Japanese wireless network company, we examined possibility of applying biological nano-devices to a cell-phone-based health monitoring application.
• Healthcare Industry and Technology
  • We are familiar with Healthcare industry and technology areas that are related to Healthcare IT such as biology, network substrate technologies (wireless and sensor networks, cloud computing and networks, multimedia networks, security), and application technologies (large scale software development).
